Snow and ice and hope!

No it's not me stealing food from the bird table ... really
Ice cold in the bull rushes
Frozen water as far as the eye can see
 Yep we're hungry too!
Hope springs eternal

There are lots of issues I could/should/would write about, but instead I'm going to have a nap!

Ahhh, the "n" word.
Hope you fall asleep tucked in tight under your favorite blankie, with a book on your chest.

Dang! I'm feeling a little sleepy myself! The power of suggestion!

No snow here. Just cold, grey and wet.

I hope that you enjoyed your nap.

OH my gosh.....flowers?!

Lovely photos--I especially liked the bullrush ones with the brilliant light--and the sun over the pond. Wow.....

AND I see there's a chapter in the book I can nose around in and read at my leisure! Wooooohooooo!!!

<-- nosy like that! :-D

A nap is always a treat.
I love all the pics especially the last one with the flowers, the caption says it all.

I wish we had squirels in Australia, but considering all the other introduced species perhaps it is just as well we don't. It is always a delight to see them overseas, as is snow and ice for me.
Have a lovely weekend Mandy, and a restful one.
