Alternate Christmas tree ( well for three days anyway)

For the first three days of the towns Christmas Tree it's been adorned with bras. It's to remind the town of breast cancer awareness. So I'm putting it here just to remind anybody passing by to check yourself regularly, get a mammogram, and don't let this vile disease get you.

Feel free to use any of these photos if you want to pass the message on.

Thank you for this reminder Mandy, although I do have my check-ups regularly it is good to be made more aware of the importance of this.

What a brilliant idea. We can never have too many reminders.

I'm pretty good about my check-ups but I am perhaps not good about reminding the women I love. The tree idea is very clever.

ha! I love it. I found your link on talon's blog and followed the feet.
I am a poet, but when wordless wednesday hits the blogosphere, I use Tuesday Toes photos from the brief travel shots I have.

so, I think our feet take us where we see life, and this tree is life.

I will use it.

What a great tree! Thanks Mandy for thinking enough about us to remind us.

I like that the alternate Christmas tree might just jolt someone's memory to have a breast screening - very important, to make sure our loved ones are around for many Christmases to come.

That is such a brilliant idea to attract attention and then remind us all to check.

Crazy reminder, great way to get the message across!

Because I've been away for a while, I've been back as usual to make sure I haven't missed any news.. found your post all about The Cure. So heartwarming, and lovely to hear you sounding so positive and happy. Huge congrats on the five years!!!

Also great hearing about Highgate, and your meeting with Nicky - great!!
