What water means to me

The sound of water, no matter how or when,
just need the sound.

The pitter, patter of rain on the window
The pouring down upon the roof.

The crisp clean gurgling over rocks
Gushing, rushing on its way

The slip sloping water as it meanders down the river
just lapping with gentle ripples upon the bank

The diamond sparkling droplets full of rainbows
The light on the water wherever it is

The building of sound as it gets to the sea
the crashing of waves upon the shore.

This is what keeps me sane

It's where we came from, primal and magical at the same time .....

Oh yes indeed! Whatever would we do without it - right up there with Trees, for me :)

My mother longs to live by the sea and here we are in Arizona. I suppose it's the growing up in Liverpool that is in her soul. I love the gurgling of water.
