My big walk has been cancelled this morning so I thought before I go for a shorter on with Trix I'd take you on my proposed holiday journey.
Obviously I don't have any Polish pics yet, but no doubt they will come.
So setting off to look at the bluebells down by the canal just down the road from my home.
First stop is Bovey Tracey, this being the River Bovey from my usual Sunday morning walk when I'm visiting there.
On my return from Poland then it's straight down to Cornwall and this is Carbis Bay this time last year.
Then last night will be Exeter, and if there is time there will be a walk on Exmouth beach.
And then home again and maybe a walk out of the front door down to Rudyard Lake, a seven mile walk around it and back home.
So hope you have enjoyed your holiday, so all that's left to be done is to unpack the suitcase and get the washing machine on.

I love seeing all your photos! BG Xx
Lovely! Seven miles around the lake though...may I ride a bicycle instead of walking? ;-)
So pretty, your landscape! Is your weather better than ours? Last night it RAINED, and the clouds are not gone. I`m glad I could take that long walk on my chair and not in pouring rain! Do widzenia, Mandy!
When you are at Carbis Bay, give me a shout, perhaps we can meet for a coffee if you have time xx xx
What a lovely walk! :)

Love the way you always leave us longing for more ........
I'm with Fireblossom, I'll need my bicycle. I can't walk very far or very fast any more because of physical limitations. Iam glad you do it and seem to enjoy it. I never thought I'd be slowed down at any timer in my life, but it happens and sometimes I feel veryt sad about it.
I do have a nice bicycle and can spend a lot of time pedaling. Now. we're in another cold spell and riding is uncomfortable, but I get a half hour in here and there.
By the way, the sights you see are very nice, the countryside looks like someplace I'd like to be.
Peace.
WHether it is because you live in a particularly beautiful part of the world or you are just able to see the beauty that others pass by without a glance, your pictures always uplift me and make me smile. Good thing, cause if I had to walk the 7 miles I'd be crabbing the whole way!
As long as it's not a foot race--and as long as I can stop and be distracted by blades of grass and rocks that call to me.....I'm good with the seven miles.
Might take all day--but I'm good with it.
Oh. As long as there's a thermos or two of coffee. :-/
JUST sayin'.....LOL
Wow seven miles..whew...I'm tired!!! Pretty though...oh yes the bluebells...
As gorgeous as your photos are I know the real experience will be a million times more enriching. Something no camera or description could capture. I love how I always see something new and unexpected on my walks. Yours look amazing!
That bluebell wood is breathtakingly beautiful. I have flown over Rudyard Lake but never walked round - I bet its lovely. Thanks for sharing.
How splendid indeed! And I am not even tired : )
Fireblossom suggested I visit your blog and I'm so glad she did - your photography is beautiful. That's a seven mile walk I'd be thrilled to take!
That was fun, it's so interesting to see all the photos from your part of the neighborhood. I would love to take that walk with you. Hope you are well Mandy.
