Snow on December 1st

Tonight I got taken out for dinner. I was driven there, and paid for by my youngest son. And whilst we sat eating our food in Buxton the snow started. Despite my moaning in the last post about it there was something fitting and beautiful about snow on the 1st of December. It snowed all the way home over the top of the moors, but turned to rain as we hit the town we live in.

It must be a good sign, snow on Dec. 1st. And you were treated for dinner by your youngest. Another good sign.

Lucky Mandy, dinner with son in Buxton and snow, how delightful. What more could a gal wish for. I'm so envious as I love Buxton. I had booked snow to arrive on 24th! Hopefully it will decide to snow again while we are there. Keep wrapped up and stay warm♥ Linda xoxo

Sounds like a magical evening! How lovely to have the surprise of snow and the surprise to yourself that you didn't feel the fear you were expecting :) and it sounds like you were very warm in the company of your very kind and considerate son. So happy for you x

Magic eve. Pics are so fluffy white wonderful. You know we still have this warm fall wind from Italy crossing the alps, means instead of having snow we open the jacket and sit out in the beergarden. How very weird.

That's so cool - it looks like it's growing on those trees from the ground up!

The first snow is always the most beautiful day of the winter.
Then you have to shovel it away and remember why you hate it.

Beautiful pictures! I love snow on trees, too.

So glad you had a lovely dinner with your youngest. They do grow out of the difficult stage eventually, it seems. Mine is getting much better too.

Hugs,
