What?

That's it, its official I am a grumpy old woman!

There was I minding my own business in my house, passing by the television that youngest and his girlfriend were watching Comedy Central, when I heard it.

Now I know the world is rushing past, there is no time for anything, everything has to be short cut.

But I ask you.....

" The next programme will be another EP of Friends......"

EP????

How much of a nano second would it have cost to say  episode?

EP????

AAAARRRGGGGHHH!

Let me out of here.

Good Lord, how did you ever figure out EP stood for episode and not eggplant, or espionage, or epistle?
I'm quite impressed with your code deciphering opinions.

I am with you. I sometimes think that I sound like my mother and I would rather not, but there does not seem to be an alternative!

Grumpy Old Women is one of my favourite (fave?? -just stirring)British television series. Loved every epp(can't help myself). Can so relate to the annoyance of it all - you have my sympathy.

If you're a grumpy old woman, then I must be a grumpy old man - that's a pet peeve of mine!

As for 'Comedy Central' - that's almost as much of an oxymoron as 'Military Intelligence'...

I have been a grumpy old woman for years and I'm only 36! I find myself shouting at the TV regularly...I HATE when they do things like ep! I also hate text speak, middle class white people speaking like they were brought up on a housing estate, people who are celebrities cause they managed to get enough money together to buy boobs...oh I could go on...

So don't worry hon...what I'm trying to say is that you are in good company!

Do so agree!! :-) Find myself frequently chuntering at the TV. Current pet hate is the use of 'floor' when speaking about outside. As in: 'he fell on the floor as he was running acorss the grass'. Noooooo IT'S the ground!! *sigh*

Was it Ee-pee or "ep". If the former, then I agree with MerryMe that you are pretty darn smart to have worked it out!
