Pictures tonight ,words later.

The Holocaust Memorial

The Dome at the top of the Reichstag, designed by Norman Foster

Very long scary U bahn thats open all the way down and you watch the train go round the bends

Utterly amazing railway station on six levels with trains on three of them.

A fishing boat preparing to leave the shore on the Baltic sea in Usedom.

Sea that was fine for paddling, but too rough for swimming.

Too tired to write words tonight.
Going to my friend's funeral tomorrow
Will be back at the weekend for words here and emails for those that get them.

I'm guessing that you had a good time - certainly hope so, fab pictures and they trigger off plenty of recollections for me (no surprise there...). Looking forward to seeing the words, when they are posted up.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow x

Can't wait for the details! For some dumbass, dyslexic reason every time I saw the word Usedom, I read Condom. Not once, mind you, every time! I'm not sure if I'm pleased or disappointed you photograph outings to the German condom factory/memorial.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow (while on a long flight across the USA) and remembering how important the precious gift of friendship is. Holding you close.

There you go rich experience all along again. Happy you returned safe and sound form the German condom factory - that is hilarious.
Merry me, you have a dirty mind, could be mine :-)) and Sigmuund Freud send his regards ;-)))

Glad you're back safe and sound. The pictures are amazing. That train definitely looks scary!

Good thoughts to you at the funeral. (((hugs)))

Lovely photos...amazing that you traveled all that way to meet a blog pal and NOW you have to absorb (and hopefully share) all of that insight and information.

I hope that your challenges are few and that life offers you many joys. <3
